Equal Opportunity Cell
The College’s Equal Opportunity Cell ensures that all students are treated equitably and tries to resolve systemic inequities. It also assists students from marginalized communities in obtaining all available scholarships, financial aid, and other benefits and privileges. The Equal Opportunity Cell’s major goal is to assist and enable students with disabilities to fully participate in the academic, intellectual, social, and cultural life of the college on an equal footing.

St. Thomas College(Autonomous) Thrissur established the Equal Opportunity Cell with the aim to address issues that affect staff and students belonging to schedule caste/schedule tribe, other backward caste, minorities, and persons with disabilities (PWDs), on a regular basis.
Objectives are as follows:
- To investigate all possible means of assisting the SC/ST, OBC, minority groups, and PWD.
- To encourage women’s empowerment
- To foster a socially congenial environment for academic interaction and the development of healthy interpersonal relationships among students from various social backgrounds.
