Blood donation camp was conducted on 25 November 2019 as a part of NCC day celebrations. 54 units of blood were donated to the IMA blood bank, Thrissur.
National Unity Day was celebrated on 31st October. Events like seminar, pledge for Unity day and a run for unity were arranged on the day. Lt Col. Thomas C I, administrative officer 23(K) BN NCC Thrissur, inaugurated the function.
Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August. Boys and girls platoon were selected in a ceremonial parade representing 23(K) BN NCC Thrissur. Boys platoon was selected as the best NCC platoon in the parade. The cadets attended the Ceremonial parade at the college along with flag hoisting
On 26 June 2019, as a part of observation of the International day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking day students’ poster about the day were displayed on the notice board.
The NCC activities for the year 2019-20 started with the International yoga day celebration in collaboration with the Nehru Yuva Kendra, NSS and Yoga team on 21 June 2019. Yoga Abhyas was conducted under the leadership of district yoga trainers. 65 Cadets attended the function.
International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 June. NCC cadets participated in Yoga Abhyas with Nehru Yuva Kendra and NSS. International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking was observed on the same day. A public awareness rally was organized as a part of the celebration.
An orientation programme to crack SSB organised in association with 23 Kerala battalion. The service selection board interview procedure explained in the class. Lt col Thomas C I,Administrative Officer 23 Kerala battalion led the class.Lt Col Vinod Dhivakar, Commanding Officer,23 Kerala battalion inaugurated the function.200 students including higher secondary and College attended the class.
Valedictory function conducts to felicitate NCC senior cadets for their Service in NCC. It organizes under the leadership of Second year NCC cadets.
NCC EX Cadets meet NCC Prayan organised as a part of centenary celebration of the college.100 NCC Ex Cadets participated in the programme. Lt Col Thomas C I,Administrative officer 23 Kerala battalion had participated in the programme. Ex NCC ANO’s are honoured by Ponnada and the centenary Key chain distributed to all NCC EX cadets.
