The Department of  Data Science came into existence in the year 2018 as an aided Program directly funded by UGC. We are offering Under graduate program in Data Science , matching with industry trends.  Intelligent analysis of large amounts of data is a crucial component in numerous business applications and a crucial component in supporting business decisions.  The programme focuses on a broad grasp of foundations in Computer Science, Statistics and Mathematics, deep understanding of the area of specialization, an innovative ability to solve new problems, and a capacity to learn continually and interact with trans-disciplinary groups.  The technology enhanced e-learning methodologies and on-line learning system enriches the programme, allow to broaden their horizons. The department has always produced quality professionals, holding important positions in Information Technology industry in India and abroad. Over a decade, it has transformed itself into an aided department that creates an innovative academic environment, with distinctive emphasis on the overall development of students. Besides academic courses and soft skills training, research and innovations are given due importance.
