NSS – Activities

*PMG DISHA ( Pradhan Mantri Gramin Digital Saksharta Abhiyan) - Registration counter is open @ St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur. An awareness class about the same was conducted for the NSS volunteers on 30 March 2021.

NSS unit of the College installed charity boxes in the College on 17 March 2021. Principal inaugurated the programme aimed to  provie a house for a deserving student of the College.

NSS Unit of our College launched a new project "Abhayam" and its logo was released by the Principal on 15 March 2021. The project envisages to provide home for an eligible student from the campus.

NSS programme officers district level Annual Meet was organised in the College on 10 March 2021.

NSS unit of our College initiated the production of paper Pen and notepad for the upcoming NSS Annual Meet.

DWCDO, Thrissur in association with the NSS Units of the College observed International Women's Day on 8 March 2021. City Police Assistant Commissioner Baby PV inaugurated the programme. A book on Higher education developed by Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence was released and NSS volunteers staged variety of cultural programmes.

NSS unit in association with District Women & Child Development Department, Thrissur organised an awareness class on the topic "Women Empowerment, Nation Empowerment" on 3 March 2021.  

NSS unit of the College organised a District level Training Programme as a part of the Seventh Economic Survey. Principal Dr. K.L. Joy inaugurated the programme on 18 February 2021 in Medlycott Hall.

National Cleaning Day Observation was inaugurated by honorable Chief Whip Adv. K. Rajan on 29 January 2021. NSS unit of the College hosted the programme organised by Kerala Forest Department Social Forestry Exentional Division, Ernakulam.
