In order to have a better idea of O.V. Vijayan’s legendary novel, ‘The Legends of Khasak’ the students of Third Semester MA English visited ‘Thasrak’ in Palakkad, which is the model for the fictional village ‘Khasak’, maintained by O.V. Vijayan memorial of Kerala Government
To commemorate the 12th Death anniversary of highly esteemed and well renowned writer Sri. C.V. Sreeraman. Both Ayanam Samskarika Vedhi and English department organized the programme.
The departments of Malayalam and English conducted a reminiscence meeting on the recently deceased poet Attur Revivarma on 30th July in Menacherry Hall.
On 9th July, English department conducted a meeting in remembrance of the great Indian playwright Girish Karnad.
