Dr. Paul Jose Associate Professor, Department of Commerce made a visit to Thailand as part of an International seminar
Department of Commerce was conducted at Athirappilly. Ajithkumar, Forest Range Officer and Sahajan, Forest Development Committee President handled the sessions.
A workshop for the faculty was organized by IQAC on the revised NAAC Accreditation process on 3rd August in the Menachery Seminar Hall. Dr. S. V. Sudheer, Director, HRDC, Kerala University, was the resource person.
Department of Mathematics organized a Two day workshop in Real Analysis on 2-3 August. Eighty participants attended the workshop. Mr. Jis Joseph, Research Scholar, IISc Bangalore and Mr. Albert Antony, Asst. Professor, Department of Mathematics, PMG College, Chalakudy led the classes.
The departments of Malayalam and English conducted a reminiscence meeting on the recently deceased poet Attur Revivarma on 30th July in Menacherry Hall.
A One day Dengue Fever Awareness Programme was held on 25th July at Menacherry Hall. Dr. Anoop T. and Dr. Uma Maheswary Thankachy attached to the State Health department spoke on Mosquito Related Diseases & Remedial Measure and Mosquito Control Measures respectively.
On 23rd July, a Cambridge Assessment Team led by Ms. Saraswathi Sudhakar sealed the Intent to Collaborate, between St. Thomas College, Thrissur and Cambridge University, UK in association with Jyothi Engineering College, Cheruthuruthy.
