In connection with the 150th birth centenary of Mahatma Gandhi, Department of History and Political Science, St Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur organized an intercollegiate extempore competition on 25th September 2018 at Menacherry Hall, St Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur.
NCC cadets had participated in an economic survey at Pananchery panchayath with the help of a mobile application generated by the Government of Kerala. In this survey, cadets distinguished 200 houses that were partially or fully affected by flood 2018.
Screening of the documentary film Wild Amazon in the context of amazon wild fires, to create awareness about the importance of Amazon forests for the sustenance of the planet was conducted on 29-8-2019 in the Medleycott Hall.
NCC cadets had participated in Kerala flood 2018 relief activities such as supply and packing of stationery items, medicine and clothes etc. Cadets cleaned 15 houses at Nenmanikkara panchayath.
A flag hoisting ceremony had conducted in the college. Dr Ignatius Antony., Principal St Thomas College Thrissur hoisted the national flag and inspected Guard presented by cadets in the college.
