A Seminar on Demography and Gender Statistics in connection with the observation of World population day was conducted by the Department of Statistics and Women’s Cell at Menachery hall on 11th of July, in collaboration with the Department of Economics and Statistics, Govt. of Kerala. Smt. Reshmi C.P., Deputy Director of department of Economics and Statistics delivered a technical talk on “The varying trends of Demography” and Smt. Prabha George, Asst. Director of Dept. of Economics and Statistics handled a technical talk on “Gender Statistics of India and Kerala”.
