In this context, the Department of Computer Science, St. Thomas’ College (Autonomous), Thrissur is initiated a webinar on *“How to Develop A Good Research Topic”* for M.Sc. Computer Science / MCA students. *Mr. Saiju Edakkalathur*, *M. Tech, [IIT KHARAGPUR]*, *COO, Amala Medical College*, Thrissur and *Mrs. Shubha P. C.* [GEC, Thrissur], *Data Analyst, Etihad Airlines, Dubai* interacted with the students to give a first hand experience of how one must conceive the final semester project and what critical thinking process might happen before finalising a topic.
