The 118th Open Defence and Viva Voce for the award of the Ph.D. degree (Zoology) to Ms. Priyanka Prabhakaran was held on Wednesday, 25th September 2025, at 10:30 am, in Kaviprathibha Hall, St Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur. Dr. Gigi K. Joseph, Vice Principal & Associate Professor, Department of Zoology, Nirmala College , Muvattupuzha was the Chairperson of the board of adjudicators. The thesis titled “Studies on Diving Beetles (Coleoptera: Dytiscidae) Kerala” was completed under the supervision of Dr. Joyce Jose.
