The 117th Open Defence and Viva Voce for the award of the Ph.D. degree (Statistics) to Ms. Deepthy G. S was held on Wednesday, 24th September 2025, at 11:00 am, in Kaviprathibha Hall, St Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur. Dr. Joby K. Jose, Registrar & Professor, Department of Statistical Sciences, Kannur University, Mangattuparamaba Campus, Kannur, Kerala, was the Chairperson of the board of adjudicators. The thesis titled “Statistical Modelling and Applications Using Weibull and Burr III Distributions ” was completed under the supervision of Dr. Nicy Sebastian.
