The Department of Media Studies organized SIGNS film festival in collaboration with the Federation of film societies of India (FFFI) and the International Film Festival of Thrissur (IFFT). Eminent documentary filmmaker Supriya Sen released the emblem of the forthcoming 7th edition of national documentary short film festival during the SIGNS film festival. The department also organised a conversation on the ethics of filmmaking with Supriya Sen and renowned film critic C.S Venketeswar.
