Ozone Day

The Department of Botany organized a 3 day Ozone Day celebration “Ozone – the Earth Umbrella” on 24 – 26 September. As part of the celebration, B.Sc Botany students performed a flash mob at Palocaren Square on September 24th on the theme ‘Amazon burning – Let’s Regreen it’.
On September 26th, KSCSTE sponsored invited lecture on the topic ‘Climate Change: Global Challenges and Local Actions’, was given by Dr. Rameshan (Project Officer, Conservation and Ecology, UNDP).
