The NSS Volunteers of St. Thomas’ College (Autonomous), Thrissur, attended “DISHA TRAINING,” an insightful session centered around the theme “Empowering Children Through Education.” The event was organized under the effort of the NSS Units 42 & 144 of the college.
The primary training session was led by Ms. Akshaya K. S., Volunteer Development & Project Coordinator, who through active interactions successfully trained the volunteers on impactful educational outreach methodologies. She emphasized the pivotal role of youth in community building and initiated the volunteers to actively participate in upcoming educational initiatives.
The session successfully created essential awareness among the volunteers regarding child development and grassroots educational support, empowering them to effectively tutor, mentor, and protect the academic well-being of children in their communities.
