On 13th June, as part of the observance of Dance Day, the department of Visual Media organized academic and practical sessions in collaboration with the Dept. of English at the Medlycott Hall. Dr. Sajith, Director, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts was chief guest. Ms. Louisa Spangna, the well renowned dance therapist from Italy made a lecture on the topic “Dance Movement Therapy.” Second session was marked with a Bharathanatyam performance by Ms.AswathyV.Nair, daughter of renowned Malayalam writer M. T. Vasudevan Nair.
