ALL INDIA ONLINE POETRY/FLASH FICTION COMPETITION ON

SHAKESPEARE IN THE AGE OF COVID-19

On the occasion of celebrating the four hundred and fourth death anniversary of William Shakespeare, the Readers’ and Writers’ Club of St. Thomas College (Autonomous), Trissur, Keralais organising an online POETRY/FLASH FICTION COMPETITIONfor the Undergraduate and Postgraduate students across India. The theme of the competition is ‘Shakespeare in the Age of COVID-19’. Re-fashioning Shakespearean characters in the contemporary scenario will enable us to contemplate how a pandemic brought this entire world together. So start penning down your thoughts.

First Prize: Rs. 3000/-

Second Prize: Rs. 2000/-

Third Prize: Rs. 1000/-

Selected works will be published as a book with ISBN.

We consider only original works written in English.

Candidates are not allowed to participate in both the items (Poetry and Flash Fiction) together.

  • Word Limit: Flash Fiction-Two hundred words (Max.)
  • Poetry Writing -Fourteen lines (Max.)
