Constitution Day
26th November 2021
As India celebrated 72nd Constitution Day, Department of Political Science, St Thomas College (Autonomous), Thrissur observed Constitution Day on 26th November 2021 with the reading of Preamble led by Dr Martin K A, our Principal, a special Exhibition at the corridor of Medleycott hall and Extempore (Malayalam) for our students. The theme of Extempore was “Samakalika Bharathathile Bharanaghadana Dharmikatha” (Constitutional Morality in Contemporary India). First Prize was bagged by M Sreehari( III sem B A Economics), Keerthana V B (I Sem B A Economics) and Dhanu Therambil (I Sem B A Double Main ) secured first, second and third prize, respectively. The Exhibition traced the journey of democratic tradition in the country, right from the evolution of the Constituent Assembly to the making of Modern India and the Present system of Indian democracy.
