The Reader’s Club in association with “ Tunchathezhuthachan Samadhi Smaraka Foundation” (TSSF) conducted a memorial meeting in memory of the great Malayalm poet Chemmanam Chacko on 26 ,September,2019 , Thursday. The programme began at 1:30 pm at the St, Thomas’College auditorium and extended till evening hours. The programme was inaugurated by the writer and former Principal of St. Thomas’ College , Rev. Fr. Dr. Devassi Pandallukkaran. The function was presided over by the Chairman of the Samadhi Smaraka Foundation , Dr. Kalpatta Balakrishnan. A lot of other invitees including Dr. K L Joy , Principal of St.Thomas College , Dr. Martin Kolabrath and Dr. Mijoy Jose felicitated the occasion. The speakers also included Rev. Sr. CV Sheeba, Alexander Sam (former Newpaper editor) , Mr. Salahuddin (Mathrubhumi Bureau Chief) and poets Ms. Loba and Ms. Rajeshweri (both winners of young poet award by TSSF).
